This month, we are featuring another player-submitted prompt by Arintol, who wants to know about a time when your character let their inner rebel out to play! As always, make sure your entries are submitted by midnight on July 28th to ensure you receive credit for our raffle and participation prizes.

June saw the release of a new summer seasonal, Ethereal Ebb, a drasillis created by Rhyme and King! You can pick up an Ethereal Ebb mushroom from the Fungimental Magic, or purchase one of our returning seasonals: Gerbera Daisy & Nishikigoi Paradise!

Mycena Cave celebrated its fourth birthday on June 21st, and gave out some free new items as party favors! Players could select one of the new Blessing items — which are also now available for purchase in the Fungimental Magic shop!

It’s been a wonderful four years — thank you to all of our players for helping contribute to such a positive experience and being part of a great community! We hope to spend many more years with you in the future.

We concluded our second flower-coloring forum activity, Flowers for Mystery, which had 95 players participating! All players who completed at least one qualifying entry received our new frame item, Beeautiful Blossom Frame, and two lucky players won raffled semi-customs based on their entries. Look forward to seeing the resulting customs in the near future!

In addition to the release of our new Blessings items in Fungimental Magic, we also saw a new nugget background released in Lands Within. Secret Sanctuary was created by King!

In our continuing effort to make information on common site features more easily accessible for those who may not be familiar with them, we have created several new guides to add to our growing collection! In that vein, we have created a formal Knowledgebase section to act as a guide directory.

Additionally, we have added a new forum: Player-Created Guides! We have populated the forum with several player-created guides already. If you host a guide that you feel would be better suited for this forum, please let us know and we will move it over!

Rikur’s Rarities is now open for business, specializing in the sale of old and rare products such as previous OotS items, event items, mushrooms, and even individual GCS mushrooms! Rikur only accepts gems for payments, and tends to price his stock high. However, he will lower the price of everything in his shop by 1 gem per day until they sell. You can find more information about his shop in this thread!

Rikur also has plans to open a second new shop — one that stocks regularly with other interesting items. We will provide more information on this additional shop as soon as we are able!

Our talented staff artist feyers has decided to formally step down from her post due to real life obligations. Thank you for everything you’ve created for Mycena Cave, feyani! We wish you the very best going forward!

As a heads up, the custom queue has been moving much more quickly than normal.  That means your order may be coming up sooner than you realize, especially if you included all of the artists on your order (all inclusive orders at the top of the queues right now are around the 30 day mark).  Even some selective artist orders are nearing the top of the queues more quickly than we typically see.

If anyone wants to go back into holding, send me an echo and I will transfer your order into holding so you have more time to collect PP.  Please do this before your order is claimed!

The queues go through fast and slow periods, so you may be safe from getting your order claimed sooner than you planned, but I wanted to let everyone know just in case it keeps speeding along! <3
