July’s Mycenaissance has been wrapped up! The raffle has been drawn and the spotlight has been chosen - congratulations to our winners! :) Prizes will be distributed shortly.

This month, we would like to introduce the Creative Collective — a revamped and broadened version of the Mycenaissance! Instead of offering a singular prompt to inspire players to create something, the Creative Collective is broken down into three parts:

• The Scribe Circle provides a monthly writing-themed prompt and offers raffle prizes for submissions and for commenting on submissions
• The Canvas Circle provides a monthly art-themed prompt and offers raffle prizes for submissions and for commenting on submissions
• The Roleplay Circle provides a monthly raffle for active roleplayers, with each post counting as one ticket in the raffle and allowing up to five tickets per person per month

Additionally, we are now offering a new openable item called the Bag of Wonders as the raffle prize! This item contains one of several never before seen equippables, and can only be earned through participation in forum events and games.

We hope that providing a wider variety of participation options and a pretty nifty new prize will encourage everyone to flex their creative muscles! August’s prompts are now live — be sure to check them out!

Recently, the custom queue has begun moving much more quickly than is typical. This means that your order may be coming up sooner than you’d expected - especially if you have several artists selected for it!

While this is wonderful news for many of you, we would hate to see anybody fall into the position of having their order accepted before they’ve collected the needed amount of PP for it. If you are concerned that you may not have enough time to collect PP for your order, you may request for your order to be put back into holding.

Please echo Myla if you would like her to do this for you! This offer only extends to those whose orders have yet to be claimed by an artist, so be sure to do so before that point!

We discovered a glitch in Rikur’s Rarities that was allowing items to cycle out of the shop before being purchased. This has now been fixed, but we would like to assure you that low-value items have not actually been selling for ridiculously high prices - apparently, Rikur’s just got some shady business practices.

Later this month, you can look forward to enjoying a puzzle-styled event with a crew of less than helpful old sea dogs! Put on your thinking caps and ready your sea-legs, because we’re going after pirate treasure. This event will run for two weeks and be of a similar style to last summer’s Into the Caves expedition.

Duuuuude. I haven’t had much interest in the Mycenaissance due to the prizes, but I will for sure be trying to get my paws on a Bag of Wonders and join the Creative Collective *^*
I’ve been so out of touch with creative things lately this will surely kick my butt back into gear.

Also I can wait for the Pirate Event! August sounds super fun, thanks for the hard work, guys :D

Hmm… the new revamped Mycenaissance activities sound intriguing, as does the Bag of Wonders!!!  Granted my rng luck stunk so badly before I kinda gave up with the monthly actiivity, but I might get pulled in for a chance or two.

I love the new coat, not sure if I’d use it though… The hair is absolutely fantastic! :D

I’m glad to hear about the new creative things. Addressing some of the prompts with art felt a little awkward previously, but I like this current art prompt! I was just thinking the other day how I’d like this site to do a bit more with art, like how closed species groups on DA have monthly art prompts. I’m delighted to see it now.

Yeah, at some point Mycenaissance veered a lot more towards writing, which was never intentional. I am glad that you dig this month’s prompt! If you have any ideas for future prompts, we are happy to accept suggestions! :D

We have added a template fox foot edit as an option you can request when you’re getting a kelph custom.  We added it because fox feet has been a common edit request, and this will make the edit a bit more affordable! :)

Template fox paws are 3 PP/$15 (non template fox paws are 6 PP/$30).
