Now that its roots are fully formed, it’s time to scare the tricker-tree out of town so that our friends and neighbors don’t start to mysteriously go missing! Thankfully, tricker-trees are known to be quite skittish, and it just so happens to be the time of year when spooky thoughts tend to be creeping into Mycenians’ minds! Ambrose invites everyone to dress up in their best, most frightening costume or recite some dreadful poetry in order to make this tricker-tree leaf.
Costume guidelines
Dress up one of your Mycenians in a frightful getup using either the magic puddle or your own items.
Remember: Outfits made in the magic puddle need to be saved and re-uploaded! Linking directly to an image from the puddle doesn’t work.
Outfits should be comprised of at least 5 items (you don’t need to list them)
Post your costume creation in this thread!
All costumes must be posted by 23:59 ST on October 31st for credit!
Poe-tree guidelines
Create a Halloween-y poem or haiku to tell the tree!
Post your poem in this thread
All poems must be posted by 23:59 ST on October 31st for credit!
You only need to do one of the above for participation credit!
Examples
spooky, scary tree
quickly you’d better flee, or
firewood you’ll be!Crow
the hum of a spider knitting new webs
the din of skeletons bemoaning their plight
werewolves growling as the old moon ebbs
dancing stilted salsas on halloween night
what rears and reaches up from the ground?
seeking small spooks and fresh trickery
that booming laughter and wallowing sound
marks the cultivating of our dear tricker-tree
