Week 9 Wrap-up
  • This week, 10 new profiles were created!
  • This means we’ll be raffling off 2 prizes!

This week runs through 23:59 ST on June 2nd, and is the final week of the profile drive!

KICKS DOWN THE DOOR I didn’t think I’d actually manage to finish a profile but I DID.

Raphael and Sonder have a finished geness page now, just in time for their sprout!!! I went for three written modules; the three big chunks of text (that aren’t the massive thing in the spoiler) are all new.

Worked on Coronis this week! Art with the gray background is new, as well as “shrouded moons” (personality) and “raven, raven” (powers)! :D

I made a profile for Gina!  I’m not…completely happy with it but it’s all new and I’m like…mostly happy with it?  I’m happy to have all current denizens of that universe with completed profiles, at any rate.

For this week I redid Caius’ bio. All the major text areas are new / re-written. (aesthetic/antiquity/attachment boxes)
This has been fun! I’ll be sad to see the drive end but also maybe low-key happy… I need a profile break. :’)

Did Gizem’s profile finally. Gizem himself isn’t a new character,i brought him over from elsewhere. but i gave him a shiny new organized profile. Its not quite done,hes got a lot of stuff attached but i didn’t wanna forget to put him here!

Actually finished early for once (by finishing up what I didn’t for last week 8D;;;): Truth which is not a conventional character, and I will probably toss half of this, but history/relationships/plot summary modules?
Idk, this entire thing was a bit too experimental as a concept.


...also, could I recommend for future profile drives (if we do them for a long period of time like this again—I liked it and it really helped) it might encourage more participation if there was a secondary sticker for every week. I know that the main ones count for BOW, which might be an issue—though I think these profiles might be more work than the CC guidelines? If it that’s the problem could we get a sticker with maybe writing on it say…Spring 2020 Profile Drive and each week could have a different color or something sticker? I actually really liked the sticker book concept more than expected and collecting them is kind of satisfying, but I think a wider variety of them might be nice to have.

finally…...... after weeks of struggling to make Words…....... I managed to slide in under the wire for the last week lmao

added three new modules for ella and renee’s geness bio!  new sections are a child, all this time, and nightdream!

I hope you guys enjoyed working on your characters over the past few weeks! :D I’m sure we’ll have another (shorter term) profile drive at some point in the future, but for now, you guys deserve a rest! <3

Oh, and a super shout-out to Nobo, Ashlar, and Kiwi, who participated in all 10 weeks! I’m so proud of you guys’ dedication that I have to toss you a little something. It’s not much, but each of you will be receiving a Golden Ticket!
