Kippie Selling your flower designs to other players is fine!

To any player interested in using someone else’s flower as inspiration for a custom order, it is your responsibility to check if the original creator is alright with you using it that way.

Jordii As long as the medium you choose keeps the spirit of the minimum requirements in mind, we’d love to see what other kinds of arrangements you can come up with! As a ballpark, keep an estimate of ~10 minutes at minimum in mind for each individual entry you make :)

I’m sorry - you’ve pretty much already answered this, but I want to 100% clarify - am I allowed to use my own photography to manipulate into the flowers lineart?

This is my example (which I already submitted, but will happily remove)

Edit: The flowers come from 3 different pictures of a campfire & the leaves come from a single photo of ferns.

I was wondering if there was a way I could submit a flower painting to receive the participation prize, but opt out on the raffle? I’d prefer someone else to win as I can afford my own customs for a while. I know it’s such a slim chance to win anyway, but I’d feel bad if my entry was drawn.

Ally I’ve added a checkbox to opt out of the raffle to the submission form! You are welcome to submit a flower painting and/or arrangement and consequently submit it via the submission form to be eligible for the participation prize, but opt out of the raffle if you so desire.

While I was submitting my flowers I noticed I posted one of them twice (on the last page in the thread) I only entered one permalink for that flower on the submission form however (I should have 41 entries total) but cannot remember if it was the first or second. I just wanted to let you know in case one needed to be deleted.

sorry if this had been asked before but is it okay to submit multiple entry’s in the raffle preference column?
for example one person puts six of their entries there and the artist can pick any of those to do if that person is chosen so they can narrow the results to their faves but not have to pick a number one~?

Malis As long as you’ve only submitted one permalink, that’s absolutely fine :) If we happen upon a duplicate entry within your submission, you can regard this post as ‘duly noted’!

TheGermanTaco Oh! I hadn’t thought of that at all. It’s perfectly alright to list multiple entries as your raffle preference if you are alright with the artist choosing the entry of their preference :)

Is it ok if the flower in the reference column and the preferred base don’t match? (Ex. the flower referenced is an ineki flower, but the preferred base is a drasilis base)

thewordeater Yes, that’s okay! The flower design will be used as inspiration only, which is why we left it open for you to select which base you’d prefer.

Since we’re allowed to put in multiple entries as the raffle preference, would it be possible to indicate that multiple bases are okay for the raffle preference base somewhere? e.g. if I just don’t want a Dras or Sea Kelph but I’m open to anything else. Since the current form has it as a single selection I’ve been mulling over which base to select xD

Did I say winners? Yes, for the Flower Painting & Flower Arranging event had 113 participants, which means two lucky winners will have their indicated raffle preference designed for and delivered to them as an artistic freedom custom!
