TeaTales Oh, there’s no official friend list! You can just send it to whoever; start typing a pet’s name in the box and it will pull up the options so you can send a potion. You can exchange potions here or send them to someone else you know if you want. I’m happy to send potions back and forth, and Im sure plenty of others are too!

I updated a couple of the event items so that they have toggleable features! :D
Also, someone noted the runes were not drifting so that has been fixed!

I’m going to ask a stupid question because this is the only event I’ve been around for (too many sites I’m on, not always enough time x.x but thanks for the reminder email y’all! xD) . . . when you’re buying things from the shop with corks, there’s an option to buy individual things from the bags, or the bags themselves. Am I to assume that buying the “bag” itself gives a random thing, vs. buying the individual things?

The Spring 2017 should be random between Equilibrium and Herbal Hex. (Season + Year) Mushrooms are random picks between event coats for those seasons. At least, they have been previously. Correct! The bag gives you a random one, and buying the specifics will give you the specific item you want at a higher fee. There’s usually trading threads set up by players at some point if you’d rather just try your luck for the whole event and trade for what you’re missing later.

More stupid quetins incoming but…. google translate is not very helpful in explaining to me what toggleable means so.. Is there anyone who perhaps can explain that to me? *stares confused at the update * Also where do you buy the capes and such is it to buy one of the potions in the event shop and just hope that you’re lucky enough? X_X’’

TeaTales For the capes, if you click on the potion that it’s contained (Potion of Diamonds) in you can buy the cape for a markup of 40 corks, or otherwise, you’re right; you’ll have to buy one of the potions and hope you’re lucky enough. That said, a lot of people will probably be willing to trade, so you can try your luck on the forums! Unrelated to the above, I’ve never had such bad luck with ingredients before omg. 24 Graveyard Rubble and zero Gossamer Thread, Glowing Flower and Sacred Tree Leaves. I also have between 4-9 of the others not mentioned. I mean, I don’t doubt that the ingredients are weighted by how often they’re used in recipes, but I’m starting to feel like the RNG has a grudge against me lol. My apologies to everyone I owe potions to, I literally can’t make anything right now. OTL

Toggleable basically means you can turn them on or off - So, with Mycena’s toggleable items, you can turn parts of them on or off depending on what you want of it to show! For instance, the contacts in the store are toggleable, so you could have one eye one color and one eye another, rather than changing both eyes to the same color. Some coats also have toggleable edits which do the same thing - For instance, I switched the barbed wire on my Haunted Hound, Antheia, off, so it doesn’t show on her where it would on other Haunted Hounds that have it switched in. In a nutshell - Toggleable means you can turn certain parts of items or pets on or off as you like, rather than having to use all of them at once! As far as buying the capes and stuff goes, when you go to the event page and click on the “Jessamyn’s Curiosities” button, it takes you to the event shop where you can buy items with your corks! If you click the bottles you can see what each one can hold and buy them individually, or you can buy the potions themselves which offer random items from their unique pools for a lower price when opened. There are usually trading threads for swapping items during the event if you decide to try your luck with the random draws, so a lot of people go for the openable items because they’re less expensive c: Hopefully that makes sense! Let me know if you need clarification on anything~ Edit: Ninja’d, haha!

Azurrys and MasterShortpants Thank you for explaining it to me, had no idea about it. And yes azu, you’re not the onl one with bad luck on this event, first day of the event my brai farted big time and didnt realize the new header meant a new event, 2nd day my computer messed completely up and today ive been travelling across the country but finally bak home where i can focus on the event X_X and my luck getting the threads too are terrible. ph also does what potion you make have anything to say at all, expect from how many corks you get?

TeaTales The potions give different items depending on how many corks they cost. So for instance, the most expensive 300-cork potion will only give you one of the two event mushrooms. You can see the contents of the other two by clicking on them in the shop. So you do have a say in which set of items you’re going to be drawing from, but not which item you get from the set c:

Azurrys Ah, I think you misunderstood my question there bit, I meant the difference in the different potions our ingredients are for aka the luck, joy, strength, swift, intelligense nd such potions. Haha yes someday the rng will be with us.. hopefully. how can you even come in potiondebt?

TeaTales and Azurrys I feel you on that crazy luck. Do either of you happen to need gems, water, or mushrooms? I have around five of those and no more than one of the rest, lol. As far as the potions you craft and send to get corks go, the only differences between them (besides names and art) are the ingredients they take and the corks you get - Beyond that, they’re functionally the same! Although some people do like to send them to pets with thematically appropriate names, personalities, and the like just for fun, of course - I know I sent an Ineki named Sonic a Potion of Swiftness. Gotta go fast ;p

TeaTales As for the ‘potion debt’, it’s just a habit of mine! I personally like to send back a potion to anyone who’s kind enough to send me one, aside from sending them to my friends or to cool names c: I’m not literally in debt, but at the moment there are a few people I haven’t returned potions to yet, so I’m prioritising sending potions to them before sending to anyone else. Thank god for the potion log, though I’m also keeping the notifications for convenience haha. Edit: That said, I swear that complaining to you two has made me luckier. I just got Thread and Leaves! Bless the RNG, it’s time to make potions :D

WeyrLeader I’m guessing there’s not a forum this time because of the overlap with the rp event, but someone did make a “Give a Potion Give a Potion” thingy. The thread is here!
