[April Fools] Mycena Cave has been acquired by Long John Silver!

Hi everrrrryone,
We have some big news today! We’ve been acquired by Long John Silver’s ™ (Amerrrrica’s Fish Frrry) as a result o’ their effort t’ expand marketin’ towards online communities. As part o’ th’ deal, we’ve agrrrreed t’ a few changes:
First, pirrrrrate-speak be now mandatory at all times, and dinna sparrrre the whip! Long John Silver’s ™ feels that this be essential t’ their marrketin’ initiative, and we agreed that it wouldn’t be a prrroblem. Firrre the cannons! We’ve underrrtaken a massive efforrrrt t’ “pirrrrratize” all existin’ RPs, and indeed everrrry single post on this website fer yer convenience.
Second, we’re doin’ away wi’ th’ whole cave thin’. I explained t’ them that it be bein’ pretty integrrral t’ RPs, and so after a heated negotiation we agrrreed t’ rename th’ site t’ “Mycena Cove”. This be only a single letter differrrrrence, so shouldn’t be too onerrrous t’ update all o’ yer Canon RPs. Long John Silver’s ™ has graciously agreed that it can be a magical cove, much like our cave, allowin’ ye t’ keep th’ artistic freedom ye’ve been enjoyin’ thusfar.
Third, as Mycena Cove be now a nautical themed website, certain changes have been necessarrrrry t’ th’ pet-bases (thanks t’ th’ help o’ Kin’ !), to be surrrrre. As such, all pets have been updated t’ include certain aquatic elements, as per our negotiated agrrrreement wi’ LJS. If ye feel that a custom which ye have purchased has been adverrrrrsely affected, please contact LJS usin’ their apprrrrroved Long John Silvers’ Carrres comment forrrm t’ settle th’ complaint.
Finally, it be now formally against th’ rules t’ say anythin’ negative about Long John Silver’s ™ foods. In addition, every member be required t’ post at least one on-site positive review o’ Long John Silver’s ™ foods everrry two months, and at least one off-site positive review o’ Long John Silver’s ™ foods everry month, to be sure.
What’s in it fer us? Simple: buckets o’ money fer th’ owners, and a couple o’ really nice coupons fer ye:
