And I just thought of another question/clarification. I know that historically when people have won raffles, (specifically GCS) they usually get a bunch of echoed offers on what they won. This is illegal now according to the new rules, correct? I would hope so, because I know it’s very stressful to get tons of people fighting over something you have.

That would be correct. Unless the user states that they’re looking at offers on it or otherwise notes that it’s for sale, others should not be messaging them offers. :)

b/c me and baek sometimes talk about/rp explicit content in a private chat room that only we have access to, and glitch told me that was fine last I asked… should we worry about getting in trouble now? 8|;;;

doragon:  That’s correct, and it’s one of the few rules that is actually changing from the old set to the new set of rules, as opposed to most of the other rules which are elaborations or additions to the current rules.

Staff spent a long time discussing and going back and forth on this one, since we know some people use private chat and echoes to have sexually explicit roleplays or conversations, but we ultimately decided that Mycena Cave isn’t the place for sexually explicit material.  So while it’s currently okay, it would no longer be okay once we do a full release of the new rules!

As a side note, there are plenty of off site methods you could easily use to continue these role plays! Google Documents are great for this kind of thing, as you can share a document and simply paste your reply in after writing it up! (Or even type it in the doc so the other person can see your writing process haha). Skype messaging is another good replacement as long as your computer can handle how taxing skype is haha.

Yeah one reason we had been chatting on MC is because Skype no longer works on my computer hahaha 8|

Yes, definitely!  Gchat would probably be a good replacement as well, since it’s more “chat-style.”
